F or Training and Development was set up as a training institute in Dubai, UAE in May 2014, for the sole purpose of educating the common man, the corporate sector, government agencies, and other relevant bodies of the region on local and international laws and to keep them updated on the various developments that occur in the legal field with references from the various international regulatory and judicial authorities that are responsible for the creation and execution of laws.

Why we are experienced
Middle East Centre for Training and Development (“MECTD”), with years of experience is one of the few training centers in the United Arab Emirates that specializes in “migration”. Our aim is to acquaint individuals, government, and the corporate sectors on local and international laws, as well as standards in the field of labor migration, ethical recruitment, training and awareness, as well as other relevant topics that concern this field. Our team of experts have a wide range of experience, and are a mix of academics, trainers, media personnel, humanitarian and social workers, project coordinators, graphic designers, and translators.

Through working with a multi-stakeholder network of experts from the government, and corporate sectors, as well as working with a wide network of international and local organizations, we are able to provide trainings and undertake consultations that create a better understanding of the linkages between national, regional, and international laws on human mobility, migration, and development.
